The Hitachi EC-Series programmable controller offers high performance and easy operability in a cost-effective compact package. The EC Series can meet the needs of small-scale control factory automation.

The small footprint reduces necessary panel space, but despite its compact size (170mm wide x 80mm high x 75mm depth) the EC-Series offers up to 60 point I/O. High functionality is provided with a 2k-step memory as standard; up to 96 timers and counters; a two-phase high speed counter; interrupt input and high function type analogue timer.

The EC-Series offers two types and 60 models, easy installation and maintenance. Direct PC connection and monitoring are other useful features. There are a number of compatible software programs available internationally, such as ActWin for Windows 95 and Windows NT. The programs are commonly used with the E/EB/EM Series.

Distributed control is possible via CPU linkage and the EEPROM means no battery maintenance.
